A fun and easy way to turn a simple piece of (lined) paper into stationery.
Sorry for the slightly crappyness of the pictures, the light kept changing, so hence the color difference.

There's nothing wrong with writing your letter on a piece of paper like this, I do it all the time. But if you feel like decorating, here's what you can do.

Put one strip of (masking) tape on the left. I prefer putting it on the left instead of the right, because it's easier when you're writing.

Put another strip of (masking) tape on the paper. Lots of tapes are a bit transparent, when you let them overlap, it gives a nice effect. Cut a triangle out of, to create a ribbon effect.

Draw or stamp a cute illustration over the tape. This paper plane stamp is my design and available at Moosmade (just in case you were wondering ;)) and then just start writing!
